Now, social media platforms have become an indispensable resource in health promotion. We can’t afford to look at the future of public health without having social media in that conversation” – Ms Nicola Nkhoma

Ms Nicola Nkhoma has experience in designing, managing, rolling out, and evaluating digital health promotion campaigns through social media platforms. Ms Nicola Nkhoma is currently the Digital Health Promotion officer at Doctors Without Borders in the Tshwane Migrant Project in South Africa. She also provides digital health promotion support for Doctors Without Borders in Rustenburg South Africa and Zimbabwe. Prior to this, Ms Nkhoma was the Public Health Content Manager at Kingfisher Medical in South Africa. She has also worked in communications at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Johannesburg. Ms Nkhoma completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Public Health at Monash University.
