Biography

Dr. Samir Said leads the Connected Care and Healthcare Informatics at Philips, supporting Health Institutions with Innovative Solutions in their Digital Transformation journey to better serving Patients.

 

Before working at Philips, Dr. Samir was the General Manager, Health, Social Services and Life Sciences for Middle East and Africa at Microsoft Corporation.

 

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2007, Dr. Samir spent 10 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry as General Manager at Eli Lilly and Novartis.

 

Samir is a physician with a specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health. He also advised the World Health Organization on National Mental Health Programs.
